HOM is proud to support Junior Achievement of Arizona

Throughout its 27 years, HOM has lived its ‘why’ of building stronger communities by giving back in many ways, big and small, to help various nonprofit organizations fulfill their own missions. To expand its efforts, HOM recently committed to supporting a local nonprofit doing work statewide to create brighter futures and stronger communities across Arizona.

HOM is proud to sponsor Junior Achievement of Arizona (JAAZ), which is helping empower Arizona’s students for success in work and life through a variety of career readiness and entrepreneurship programs, ready to help our communities thrive well into the future.

As a statewide nonprofit, JAAZ serves over 85,000 students each year, ages 5-25, in Arizona’s low-income communities, preparing them to succeed in work and in life through a wide array of programming meant to help them gain the knowledge and skills through age-appropriate programs focused on three key areas: financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. This work requires over 8,000 volunteers annually, and HOM is thrilled to be a part of JAAZ’s volunteer network, helping students make connections between classroom learnings and the real world. The success of our communities depends on how prepared today’s students are. It is an honor to support JAAZ in this work, empowering today’s students to be tomorrow’s innovative leaders, poised to tackle our greatest challenges.
