Threshold Celebrates One-Year Anniversary
In June of 2022, in partnership with Maricopa County, HOM launched Threshold, a new tool in the fight to end homelessness.
Threshold is Maricopa County’s first-ever centralized network of resources and support for property owners and managers who seek to operate profitable, well-maintained properties while providing safe and stable homes for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
Threshold was designed by and for property owners and managers, offering a full slate of incentives and services to enhance and strengthen HOM housing programs and make them work even better for landlords.
After just one year, the Threshold network has grown to nearly 500 property owners and operators. There are now over 1,000 newly recruited properties available to program participants with over 500 of these properties currently in use. Together with our service provider partners, these units have become home to nearly 1,300 previously unhoused neighbors.
We are so proud of what we have accomplished in our first year together, and we could not be more excited about what we will do next.
Read more about how far Threshold has come in its inaugural year in the Threshold Annual Impact Report available now on the Threshold website.
